  - I have been taking Lanzaprozole (Proton pump inhibitor) for dyspepsia. One of the side effects of the drug was flatulence (due to the wrong type of bacterial overgrowth in the lower GI tract). By taking EcoDophilius my bowels have returned to normal. If you have similar symptoms from taking PPIs, then I would recommend you give this a try and see if you gain the same benefit.

  - After trying various probiotics including Threelac and VSL, nothing seemed to work with our child until Ecodophilus. Until this time, her stomach had always been bloated and stools loose (or diarrhea). Since using Ecodophilus, her stools have been normal for the first time in years (she is only 4!) so it is clearly working! The current dosage is 3 capsules a day and if we decrease this, the diarrhea returns. So to maintain a healthy gut in our ASD child, we use 3 caps daily.

Note: I selected this product before I found Alforex – the first pill I took was alongside whey protein which I was reintroducing to my diet and I vomited. Subsequently I took the pill on its own and 18 hours later I had severe heart palpitations. I could only surmise that I cannot take high dose and high variety of strain of probiotics. It won’t necessarily have this effect on everyone though.
